Andrea Povea Interview
• Are there any specific fashion trends or styles that you enjoy experimenting with or incorporating into your own look?
I love mixing bohemian and edgy styles—flowy fabrics with bold accessories. I also enjoy experimenting with sustainable fashion and vintage pieces that have personality and a story.
• What is your greatest weakness and how have you tried to overcome it?
Sometimes I can be too self-critical, especially after a photoshoot. I’ve learned to focus more on growth than perfection, and I remind myself that every experience is a step forward.
• What are your strengths?
I’m very adaptable and bring positive energy to every shoot. I connect easily with people, and I’m not afraid to express emotion through the camera, which helps create more authentic work.
• What are you passionate about?
I’m deeply passionate about animal rights, nature, and using my platform to promote kindness and sustainability. I also love expressing creativity through fashion and storytelling.
• What aspect of the modeling industry are you most passionate about?
I’m most passionate about the power of fashion to inspire change and confidence. Modeling can be a voice—not just an image—and I love when campaigns carry meaningful messages.
• Could you share your career goals and aspirations for the next five years, both within and beyond the modeling industry?
In the next five years, I want to work internationally and be part of campaigns that align with my values. Beyond modeling, I hope to start an initiative that supports animal welfare and educates people about ethical fashion.
• What inspired you to pursue a career in modeling? Was there a specific moment or experience that influenced your decision?
I’ve been very tall since I was little, and I had a complex about it. I found a safe place in modeling.
• Who is your favorite model and why? How has their work influenced your own modeling journey?
Gisele Bündchen is one of my favorites. I admire how she balances a successful career with her activism for the planet. Her authenticity and strength have taught me that being true to yourself is the most powerful image you can project.
• Do you have a favorite fashion designer or brand that resonates with your personal style or aesthetic? What draws you to their designs and philosophy?
I really love Stella McCartney. Her commitment to cruelty-free fashion aligns with my values, and her designs are elegant but conscious. She proves that style and ethics can go hand in hand.
